Shirin Neshat revisits a defining body of work in this new limited edition print.

Women of Allah (1993-1997) is the seminal series that introduced Shirin to an international audience. Created after her return to Iran in 1990 following seventeen years in exile, the striking black-and-white photographs challenge Western perceptions of Muslim women while bearing witness to women's lives in Iran and in exile.

This new edition reworks an iconic photograph from the series with additional silkscreen layers of handwritten Farsi calligraphy. The print has been carefully crafted in close collaboration with the artist at our London fine art print studio, Make-Ready.
