Limited edition
Edition of 300Shipping estimated 16-23 October
One of Piet Mondrian’s most iconic paintings becomes a new limited edition print in our landmark first collaboration with the Mondrian Trust.
This artwork was originally painted in 1921, part of Mondrian's groundbreaking Composition series. Reduced to black lines, rectangles and a restrained palette of primary colours, it marks the artist’s transition toward the pure, radical abstraction of his Neo-Plastic style – and stands as one of the defining examples of geometric abstraction in early 20th-century painting.
This limited edition of 300 has been created in close collaboration with The Mondrian/Holtzman Trust and features a bespoke authentication stamp inspired by the distinctive signature Mondrian used during this period.
“I wish to approach truth as closely as is possible, and therefore I abstract everything until I arrive at the fundamental quality of objects.”
