Bio
Mark Bradford was born in Los Angeles, California in 1961. He continues to live and work in the city.
Influences
Mark’s work is rooted in an understanding that all materials have intrinsic meaning. Social practice
Social engagement is central to Mark’s practice. Through both his LA-based foundation and in tandem with his exhibitions worldwide, he organises projects that bring contemporary art and ideas into communities with limited access to museums and cultural institutions.
